Job description
Shipping ClerkResponsible for preparing and managing the outgoing shipment of products, including tasks like accurately packing items, generating shipping labels, tracking inventory, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining detailed records to ensure timely delivery of orders.Accurately verifying and recording inventory levels of products to be shippedPicking and packing items according to customer ordersCreating and applying shipping labels with correct addresses and barcodesMonitoring the status of outgoing shipments through carrier systemsSelecting appropriate shipping methods and carriers based on cost and delivery timeCompleting necessary paperwork for shipments, including invoices and packing slipsProperly packing items to prevent damage during transitAddressing shipping inquiries from customers and internal departmentsKeeping the shipping area organized and cleanContribute to HPT and participate in team meetingsWear proper PPE and follow all set safety guidelinesAll other duties as assigned by Supervisor or lead designeeHigh School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience or on the job training in receiving proceduresParker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
