Shipping ClerkThe Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, packaging, processing shipping labeling, and standing products for shipment. This role supports shipping operations by ensuring customer orders are packaged, strapped, packed accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Every day at Hubbell Incorporated is different, and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:Packaging products according to shipping requirements and customer specifications.Inspecting materials and finished goods for quality before shipment.Labeling, palletizing, and preparing orders for domestic and international shipments.Verifying quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation.Safely handling materials and moving products throughout the warehouse.Maintaining a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.Collaborating with team members to meet shipping schedules and customer deadlines.What will help you thrive in this role? Previous warehouse, shipping, packing, or manufacturing experiences preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform continuous physical work throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to read work orders, shipping labels, and packing instructions. Basic computer skills and experiences using scanners or shipping systems preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance record.
