Shipping CoordinatorFlorence, KYCompensation IncludesStarting pay rate $25.48 - $35/hourOverviewNovolex is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping Administrator to join our Meriden manufacturing team. In this role, you will coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of finished goods, raw materials, and production supplies. You will serve as a key liaison between Production, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Quality while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting world-class customer service.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily outbound shipments and inbound deliveriesProcess shipping, receiving, inventory, and transfer transactions in the ERP systemPrepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and carrier paperworkSchedule freight with approved transportation providersMaintain inventory accuracy through transaction processing, cycle counts, and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with customer routing requirements and shipping specificationsSupport SQF, GMP, OSHA, food safety, and inventory traceability requirementsCollaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational goalsAssist with physical inventories, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED3–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturingStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systemsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fieldManufacturing experienceExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Forklift experience or certificationWork EnvironmentThis position works in both an office and manufacturing environment, requiring frequent interaction with warehouse and production personnel.
