At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success.Within the Operations Team of our Flight Solutions Group at GA Telesis, we are seeking an experienced Shipping Expeditor to join our team. The Shipping Expeditor plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this role verifies and manages records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment according to standard protocols for quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will apply their knowledge and experience of warehouse and shipping operations to meet our customers needs. This role is based in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.Responsibilities:Assemble and fill boxes or cartons with items that need to be shippedPrepare, process, and distribute documentation to ensure required aviation documents are in place and correctPrepare documentation for all customer shipments domestic and internationalEnsure all outgoing material adheres to company guidelinesFollow ATA Spec 300 Packing of Airlines SuppliesMaintain a clean and safe work areaQualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent2+ yrs. work experience in a similar roleMust have some experience working in a general warehouseMust be able to communicate effectively, both written and spoken EnglishBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)Must be able to lift minimum 50lbsPreferred Qualifications:Quantum ERP system knowledge is a plusFamiliar with DOT & IATA Hazmat Shipping process
