Shipping & Logistics SpecialistSan Leandro, CA | Onsite | $20-$27/hrWe are hiring a Shipping & Logistics Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations for a growing manufacturing organization in San Leandro.This position will play a key role in coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing shipping documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting inventory accuracy, and resolving shipping issues. The ideal candidate has experience handling hazardous materials, dangerous goods, batteries, or chemical shipments and enjoys working in a hands-on operational environment.What You'll DoCoordinate domestic and international shipmentsPrepare shipping labels, customs documents, and compliance paperworkPackage and ship hazardous materials, batteries, chemicals, and regulated productsWork closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokersTrack shipments and resolve delivery issuesReceive incoming materials and maintain inventory accuracyMaintain shipping and compliance recordsAssist with process improvement initiatives across logistics and operationsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experienceExperience with hazardous materials, dangerous goods, batteries, or chemical shipmentsKnowledge of DOT and IATA regulationsExperience with shipping software such as FedEx Ship ManagerForklift experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and solve problems quicklyComfortable working in a hands-on warehouse or manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 30 lbs regularlyMust be open to working weekends as neededWhy Apply?Competitive pay: $20-$27 per hourEquity opportunities availableJoin a growing organization supporting innovative technology and manufacturing operationsOpportunity to make an immediate impact in a critical logistics roleJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
