Shipping And Receiving ClerkThe Shipping and Receiving Clerks manage inbound and outbound shipments with the main objective ensuring products are delivered and moved on time.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Report and maintain data in customer and internal systemAdjust inventory as requiredCollaborate daily with production, ensuring timely delivery of product and production schedulesEnsure all finished goods are in SAPGenerate BOL's and packing listsComplete paperwork timely and accuratelyExamine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortagesReport all discrepancies with inbound and/or outbound loadsResolve outbound and incoming delivery issues with key stakeholdersPerform daily review of produced goods and customer open orders reportPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of work areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsDemonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrates commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesPerforms other duties as assigned by Supervisors/ManagersEducation & ExperienceNone Required, High School Diploma or Equivalent DesiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of logistics and inbound/outbound shipmentsAbility to read and interpret shipping and receiving documentsAbility to navigate computer systemsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to sit, stand, bend, stoop for prolonged periodsAbility to use a computer keyboard and computer screen for extended periodsMainly in an office environment: some time may be spent on production floorAbility to lift up to 25 lbs2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pmMenasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
