Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk coordinates incoming and outgoing FedEx, UPS, and local deliveries, including domestic and international shipments. This role prepares packages, maintains accurate shipping records, and works with carriers and internal departments to keep materials moving on time.
Responsibilities
Pack, seal, label, and prepare items for shipment.
Research shipping options and costs for large domestic equipment shipments.
Select shipping methods, prepare documents, and coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
Record outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments in the company ERP system.
Check incoming items for accuracy and report damage, shortages, or other discrepancies.
Deliver materials to departments using a hand truck, cart, or forklift as appropriate.
Help load and unload trucks when needed.
Maintain shipping records and stock shipping supplies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of shipping and receiving or related warehouse experience.
Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping processes.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour
