The S & R Clerk enters into appropriate computer system as well as prepares material identification tags as needed. The S & R Clerk organizes/kits incoming materials to work order specific areas as needed. The S & R Clerk may identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish necessary stock.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.1-3 years of experience operating a forklift required; overhead crane experience a huge plus.General knowledge of ancillary lifting devices preferred.General knowledge of carbon steel/stainless steel valves, fittings, and long product (pipe, angle, flat bar, etc.).Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings.Cycle countingWhy Work for Olympic Steel:Olympic Steel offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision benefits; paid holidays and vacation; a 401(k) match; tuition reimbursement; and various opportunities to earn cash bonuses.
