Shipping/Receiving ClerkWe are currently searching for an experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our Shipping & Receiving Department at our Fairfield, TX facility. The ideal candidate is a capable self-starter who is resourceful in solving problems with minimal direction and thrives in a challenging yet fun environment.Payrate: $17.00 - $17.50 per hourWhat you'll be doing:Picking, packing and palletizing orders for company distributorsInventory restockingSecuring completed pallets and attaching all appropriate paperworkInteracting with drivers for pick-ups and drop-offsLoading and unloading trucksStoring completed ordersGeneral upkeep and cleaning of workspaceUse of pallet jacks and forkliftAny other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company's Values.The duties listed above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.Is this role for you?Required QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalentMust provide steel-toed shoes to comply with safety regulations.Satisfactory results of a background checkAbility to show up and be on time for scheduled shiftsJob Environment and RequirementsEnvironment: This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where there is exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperaturesWorking Hours: Must be willing and able to adhere to the work schedule:Regular: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Summer: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential and requiredPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsSkills:Strong attention to detailAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsFlexibility in adapting to rapidly changing prioritiesA commitment to maintaining a clean workspaceExperience with forklift and electric pallet jackWhat's in it for me?We constantly strive to provide our team members with an optimal workplace.
