Job TitleEssential Functions:Prepare documents such as bills of ladingCorrespond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be metPack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transportContact carrier representatives to make transport arrangementsOrganize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-upsAssign, tag, and store received inventory to proper locationReceive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliersEnsure products are properly packed and labeledMaintain safe and clean working areaAny other task assigned by supervisor or managementThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
