Job TitleSalary StatementEstimated Starting Salary Range: USD $27.58/Hr. - USD $45.98/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Job DescriptionSupporting daily shipping, receiving, and material-movement operations for fabrication and prototyping activitiesVerifying inbound and outbound materials, preparing shipments, staging and organizing components for production, and performing stockroom transactions to keep inventory accurate and flowing smoothlyCoordinating closely with logistics and shop personnel to ensure materials are properly handled, tracked, and ready for use in ongoing fabrication tasksFILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDINGRequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent military supply/logistics experienceTwo (2) or more years of inventory, supply, or shipping/receiving experienceExperience performing shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying inbound/outbound materials, checking quantities, inspecting for damage, and preparing shipping documentationExperience supporting material intake, staging, and kitting for fabrication or production operationsExperience packaging, crating, labeling, and preparing components for outbound shipmentExperience performing stockroom transactions, maintaining inventory records, issuing materials, and tracking daily movement of partsExperience supporting production activities by preparing materials, organizing component flow, and staging work for fabrication teamsAbility to coordinate closely with logistics, fabrication, and shop personnel to maintain accurate material flowDesired SkillsExperience supporting shipping/receiving or stockroom operations in DoD, Navy, or defense manufacturing environmentsExperience handling and packaging sensitive electronic equipment, machined components, and fabricated assembliesExperience preparing Government-compliant shipping documentation, including manifests and material tracking logsFamiliarity with HAZMAT and safe-material-handling practices required in fabrication and production shopsExperience supporting prototype, machining, or fabrication operations by managing material flow, staging work orders, and preparing outbound deliverableClearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELTravel RequirementsLess than 15 business days per calendar yearAbout UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
