If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe Shipping And Receiving Clerk manages inbound and outbound shipments with the main objective of ensuring products are delivered and moved on time.Essential Functions:Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesReport and maintain data in customer and internal systemAdjust inventory as requiredCollaborate daily with production, ensuring timely delivery of product and production schedulesEnsure all finished goods are in SAPGenerate BOL's and packing listsComplete paperwork timely and accuratelyVerify incoming/outbound quantity and needs are consistent with production requirementsReport all discrepancies with inbound and/or outbound loadsPerform daily review of produced goods and customer open orders reportPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of work areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsScheduling freight loads through Customer's systems on a daily basis; verify loads match in both MPC and customer's systemsReporting of load exceptions by CustomerRegular communication with Carriers, Customers, Project Managers and Shipping/Receiving DepartmentParticipate in Daily Conference Calls with Customers regarding schedulesResponsible for carrier inbound and outbound performance reports by customer gather info from site updates for scorecards to be sent back to CustomersMaintaining the integrity of information in systems, on reports and as it's provided to the CustomerSAP for MPC & Mondelez, Transplace for Kellogg'sPerformance Measures and Outcomes:Adherence to safety policies and proceduresQuality of workProduction goalsAdditional Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSafety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to work on a rotating shift as neededAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesKnowledge of logistics and inbound/outbound shipmentsAbility to read and interpret shipping and receiving documentsAbility to navigate computer systemsAll Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
