JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Shipping & Receiving Technician will assist in receiving, storing, pulling and loading of orders while maintaining accurate records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fulfill orders based on pick lists
Load and unload delivery truck by hand or by use of a forklift
Verify accuracy of incoming products
Record information into the computer system to create accurate records
Preserve finished products and package for inventory storage
Assist in kitting and/or assembly of component packages or assemblies
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
Ability to operate a personal computer
Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Positive, "can do" attitude
THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Six months or more of shipping and receiving

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
