We have created an ethical, team oriented, and quality work environment for our employees that cultivates achievement and success.Job DescriptionThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor as well as a licensed pharmacist at all times and in collaboration with the healthcare team to provide exceptional value to our customers. They will be a key contributor to the Infusion Pharmacy's operation and should be experienced professionals in this segment of care delivery. The successful candidate will perform all duties in accordance with company policy/procedure, state professional standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.General DutiesUnder the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will:Pack orders and prepare for shipmentCoordinate the shipping of medications to patients via the Drivers, Couriers, and FedEx.Handle receiving of packages to the pharmacy and office locationStock and maintain the warehouse shelves, assists with inventoryMaintains and cleans warehouse as directedWork with the Warehouse Supervisor with regards to testing for Cold Chain Policy.Assist and work with the dispatching of the drivers for daily deliveries.Demonstrate & incorporates principles of safety & infection control into daily activities as outlined in organization's policies/proceduresConfirm delivery based on company protocolsEnsure that the Warehouse and Shipping areas are maintained and clean in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirementsAdhere to appropriate safety and quality assurance practices. Comply with state and federal lawsAssists with product purchasing, inventory, and equipment managementAssist with the coordination with suppliers and insure the correct drug products are received from the wholesale company if requestedAssist with the National Pump Depot and work with the Biotechnician, which includes tracking and cleaning of pumps and medical equipment.Minimum Education, Certification and Experience/Skill RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentExcellent Communication skills including reading, writing, and speakingExperience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelHighly Preferred Experience/Skill RequirementsExperience working in an acute or specialty infusion pharmacyExperience working in a Warehouse environmentExperience with CPR+ Pharmacy Management SystemPhysical DemandsRequired to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.InfuCare Rx is an equal opportunity employer.
