Job description
Job TitleRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe Shipper/Receiver will be expected to comply with the RCMS, ISO 9001 and all standard operating procedures. Responsibilities will include shipping, labeling, packaging and receiving raw materials and finished goods in order to meet customer demand on a daily basis.Reports to the Shipping/ Receiving Supervisor.Liaison with the logistics, production, and supply chain groups to plan and complete inbound deliveries and outbound shipments.Understand and comply with all applicable internal Lubrizol and external health, safety, security, and environmental policiesAbility to perform physical labor (drum, pail and bag, material handling)Safely perform operating tasks using a variety of chemical processing equipmentFollow established procedures to manufacture productInterpret data from process instrumentationComplete and maintain comprehensive records and production logsOrganize work to meet multiple tasksMaintain housekeeping at excellent levels.Ability to safely operate forklift in Plant environment.Utilize the SAP system to review and process inbound receipts and outbound shipments in a timely order (same day as delivery or shipment occurs).Plan and prepare goods for shipment using the Delivery Due list.Staging the outbound/inbound shipments following instructions on the sales order / pick lists.Provide the shipment documents (BOL, COA, Packing Slip, MSDS, Invoice – if requested) to carrier Complete inbound receipts for raw material deliveries, returned finished goods and stock transfers. Use the Open POs report and Stock Transfer report to plan for inbound deliveries.Receive materials against purchase order, record quantity and locationReceive returned products, stage in quarantine area for disposition review and approval.Record issues as a SCAR entry in SAP of issues associated with the items, i.e. damaged, late, etc.Ability for loading overseas containers with knowledge of different loading patterns.Qualifications and Education Requirements High School DiplomaRequirements:6+ months of industrial experienceTanker loading and unloading experiencePhysically able to move drums weighing up to 450 lbs with proper equipmentAbility to lift 70 lbs.Willing to work overtime, if neededWilling to work evenings and weekends if neededAbility to read and interpret work instructionsPrevious forklift experience/Scissor lift operationKnowledge of chemistry and chemical hazardsKnowledge of business and chemistryKnowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipmentPrevious experience in a team-based work environmentMust have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
