The primary responsibilities of this role include preparing shipments, receiving incoming materials, and maintaining accurate records of all outgoing and incoming goods.Position Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase ordersPrepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and creating shipping labelsMaintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking informationInspect and verify incoming materials for quantity, quality, and specificationsCollaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goodsFollow safety procedures and guidelines when handling materials and equipmentQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a shipping and receiving role preferredAbility to operate forklifts and other related equipment safelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 poundsStand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsOperate a forklift and other equipment as neededIf you meet the qualifications and are interested in working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is key, we encourage you to apply for the Shipping & Receiving position with our team.DCI Benefits:Medical, dental and vision Insurance401(k) with generous employer matchPaid time off, including 10 paid holidaysOptional health savings account & flexible spending accountLife insuranceEmployee assistance programParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursement
