Job description
Warehouse Team MemberJoin a family-owned medical supply distributor that has been serving hospitals and clinics throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Long Island for over 50 years. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of warehouse responsibilities and occasional local deliveries. The company is seeking a dependable team member to start as soon as possible.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments and verify inventory.Prepare and ship orders using UPS and FedEx systems.Label, pack, and organize medical supply products.Operate a propane-powered Caterpillar sit-down forklift.Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.Load and unload trucks.Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.Perform inventory and warehouse organization duties.Make occasional deliveries of medical supplies and equipment using a company van.Follow all company procedures regarding product handling and shipping.QualificationsPrevious warehouse experience required.Sit-down forklift experience required.Experience with shipping and receiving.Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is preferred but can be trained.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.Comfortable driving a company cargo/extended van independently.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.Work EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse setting.Medical supply distribution.Majority of deliveries are within Northern New Jersey.Occasional deliveries to nearby vendor locations.Cleanliness, organization, and accuracy are extremely important.Why Work Through Express Employment Professionals?Weekly PayDirect Deposit AvailableHealth Insurance OptionsReferral Bonus OpportunitiesHoliday Pay (when eligible)Access to Exclusive Local OpportunitiesOngoing Support From Your Recruiter
