This role will be responsible for incoming/outgoing shipping operations within the facility. Members of this team are responsible for preparing work orders, preparing finished assemblies, and performing cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.Organizing the shipping, receiving, inventory, and materials areasGuaranteeing that all work orders and kits are pulled on time and 100% accurate to the engineering BOMReceiving and counting inventory items accurately against shipping documentation before entry into the JD Edwards systemPatterning with the inventory team to manage and assess RMA items so they are received promptly and assigned to their appropriate warehousesPerforming cycle counts to achieve an inventory that is 100% accurateEnsuring sales orders are pulled and packed efficiently to meet the shipping cut off timeUsing hand tools to prepare machine crates for the shipmentsTracking, tracing, and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipmentsUnloading trucks and deliveries and sorting and stocking receivables promptlyMaintaining an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accuratelyEngages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitudeOther duties as necessaryWhat We Are Looking For:High school diploma or GED6 months of logistics or customer service experience and/or relevant warehouse experienceFamiliarity with ERP systems (JDE preferred)Inventory control practicesGood written and verbal communication skillsWork independently and perform tasks with limited supervisionFlexible to work overtime if necessaryStrong sense of time organization and urgencyBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office preferredForklift certifiedAdditional Skills That Will Help You Be Successful In This Role:Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsFollow all safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employeesCreate and maintain a safe work environment; repair and/or report non-conformances to company safety policies and guidelinesPerform the necessary safety requirements to avoid injury to self and fellow employeesUn-air-conditioned manufacturing facility with good air quality
