Shipping/Receiving SpecialistEssential Duties / ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucksPosition inventory and handle material safely and correctlyData collection & analysisCompliant with all training, quality, compliance, and safety policies, practices, and proceduresKeeps management aware of any problems or potential problems in the quality of the productMoving material/product throughout the shop to the next locationAll other responsibilities assigned by the ManagerCounting and preparing kits for productionKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesWork independently with the ability to prioritize work tasksThe ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructionsAbility to read and understand work instructions, documents, correspondence, and memosEffective communication skills, which include verbal and written in EnglishAbility to perform basic mathematical functionsExcellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMust be able to multi-task, have a positive attitude, and handle pressure under deadlines in a professional mannerMust have excellent attendance and be dependableThe ability to obtain a Hi-Lo licenseThe ability to follow FIFOQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDExcellent attendance recordFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing or the ability to learnAbility to work with hands and excellent eye/hand coordinationEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
