We're growing fast because the world recognizes how desperately services like ours are needed.The Shipping Specialist is responsible for handling all products that come in and out of the company. This role is very fast past and challenging. This individual is good at finding solutions to meet the needs of our customers, understands the systems flows of Namify and is self-motivated to get their best performance while being accountable to company standards and approved processes. This position requires adjustments in daily work schedules to be able to meet the needs of Namify and its clients. Working with the Shipping Manager, this position is key to ensure all client's orders are pulled, packaged and shipped on time.Job Responsibilities:Receive, PO match, tag and distribute products delivered dailyPicking and packaging of stock and multiline itemsScanning and invoicing ordersKeeping accurate inventory counts and reportingEnsure all orders ship out on time and accuratelyUnderstand principles of shipping, receiving, stock pulling, order fulfillment, and quality controlFollow standard processes set for each taskManage time efficiently to meet goals for each process related to shipping and receivingCommunicate with various departments, management, and team members to professionally to maintain quality, efficiency, and meet customer needsEnsure all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properlyEnsure all emails and phone calls are answered promptly for departmentBenefits and Compensation:$14.50/hourImmediate PTO accrualPaid holidays2 paid experience daysMedical insuranceFree telehealthFree accident InsuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFree life insurance401(k) with up to 4% employer matchRequirements:Must have proper documentation for employment in the United StatesMust perform Pre-Employment drug testJob Skills:Excellent great communication skillsStandard knowledge of computers and iPadsHigh attention to detailAbility to lift 20+ poundsAbility to function in a standing position for 6+ hours a dayLogistics or supply chain background preferredExperience pulling orders and packaging them preferredExperience with UPS, FedEx, or USPS preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredThis position reports to:Shipping ManagerSchedule:Monday to Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm (Full-time)Work Space Info:This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.Training:Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.Safety:Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.Conformance Statement:In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:Perform quality work within deadlines with and without direct supervision.Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
