Job description
Job TitleEssential Duties and Responsibilities1. Process shipments through multiple carriers using SEL and external business systems.2. Meet quality and production goals in assigned areas of responsibility.3. Ensure compliance with customer requested delivery methods and international export regulations.4. Regularly communicate with Customers and Support staff to troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues.5. Prepare shipping containers and pallets in accordance with SEL standards; schedule and coordinate pick up with carriers.6. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.7. Understand, Create, Simplify.8. Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsAbility to frequently lift 40 poundsKnowledge of packing materials and shipping requirementsAbility to follow established work schedule and proceduresStrong math, documentation, writing, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred QualificationsPrevious Shipping ExperienceExperience in fork-lift truck operationPhysical RequirementsAbility to frequently lift 40 poundsAbility to work in a standing position for 8 hoursCompetitive pay.
