Shop Helper DaysShift: Monday-FridayHours: 7am- 3:30pm Pay: $16.00 Hourly
Shop helpers will assist welders, pipefitters, and machine operators with material preparation, assembly setups, and daily fabrication tasks.Building pallets, crates and other misc. shop duties as assignedLoad, unload, stage, and transfer raw materials, components, and tools throughout the facility using hand trucks, forklifts, or overhead cranesUse basic hand tools, power tools, grinders, and measuring devices under supervised shop guidelines.
Experience:Entry level, previous manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial shop experience is preferred.Ability to accurately read a tape measure and utilize basic shop math.Willingness to learn how to operate overhead cranes, read basic fabrication drawings, and understand bills of materials (BOM). Must have steel-toed boots.
