This position performs tasks related to fabricating steel plate safely, efficiently, and to Landmark's quality standards.Essential Functions:Accurately measure, mark & lay-out materials/parts using a tape measure along with other lay-out toolsReliably listen & follow instructionsSafely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools including saws, sheers, punches, grinders, cutting torch, & handheld plasma torchSafely and efficiently operate an overhead craneGeneral shop housekeeping; organization of raw & processed materialsUnderstands and practices the Landmark Safety Policy. Observes all safety practices and procedures.Essential Functions:Safely and efficiently operate a forklift or other heavy equipmentEquipment Operation:Frequent use of various Power ToolsFrequent use of various Manual ToolsPotential rare use of Heavy EquipmentExperience Requirements:0-2 years of experience in a fabrication / steel fabrication or welding shop settingLicenses, Certifications, Registrations:Forklift certification a plus* We offer a competitive compensation, medical benefits and retirement package*To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
