Shop HelperSnelling Staffing is currently hiring a Shop Helper for a busy precision metals and fabrication facility in Jacksonville, FL. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow within a manufacturing environment. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a hands-on shop setting.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with deburring and cleaning fabricated metal partsHelp with loading and unloading materialsSupport machine operators and fabricators as neededMaintain a clean and organized shop areaDispose of scrap materials properlyFollow all safety rules and company proceduresPerform general shop and production support dutiesRequirementsAbility to read and use a tape measureBasic math skills (fractions and measurements)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable working in a manufacturing / shop environmentAbility to stand for long periods of timeMust be dependable and willing to learnAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamWork EnvironmentIndustrial / manufacturing shopLoud equipment at timesPhysical, hands-on workFast-paced production setting
