Shop Helper
Industrial Machine Shop Helper Pay: $13-17/hr Location: Tulsa, OK Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable Machine Shop Helper to support daily operations within a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, machine operation experience, and a strong work ethic who are looking to grow within a stable and team-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with setup and operation of various shop machines
Support machinists and production team with daily tasks
Perform basic assembly of mechanical components and valve-related parts
Handle material movement and staging of parts for production
Use hand tools and measuring instruments as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred
Basic machine operation and mechanical knowledge
Assembly experience required
Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
