Shop Manager | Fremont, MI
Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking Shop Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material procurement with supply chain.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance activities.
Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams on new product introductions.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Proven ability to interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, budgets, and production schedules
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for leading and developing a team
