Shop Manager | Hart, MI
Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation to meet manufacturing targets.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product standards.
Manage shop floor personnel, including training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing facility.
Optimize shop processes for efficiency and cost reduction through continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain production equipment, coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and inventory
Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
