Shop Manager | Kalamazoo, MI
Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product standards.
Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely material flow and product delivery.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on production metrics.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
Experience with inventory management and production scheduling
Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment and processes
