Shop Manager | Ludington, MI
Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Ludington seeking Shop Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shop operations and production schedules.
Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with supply chain and engineering departments to meet production targets.
Maintain equipment and facility readiness, scheduling preventive maintenance.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in manufacturing shop floor supervision or management.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled technicians.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of optimizing operational efficiency.
Proficient in safety regulations and best practices within a manufacturing environment.
