Shop Manager / Operations Manager
Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Lead a Critical Industrial Service Operation
An established industrial services organization is seeking a Shop Manager / Operations Manage r to lead a high-performing motor and rotating equipment repair operation. This is a succession-planning opportunity where the selected leader will work closely with a highly experienced incumbent before assuming full ownership of the operation.
What You'll Do
Lead daily operations of a large industrial repair facility
Oversee shop personnel through an existing Shop Foreman
Manage quoting, estimating, and job prioritization
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Coordinate workflow to meet customer deadlines and operational goals
Support profitability and operational performance initiatives
Provide technical guidance while maintaining a leadership-focused approach
Work closely with senior leadership on strategic direction and growth
Required Qualifications
3+ years of leadership or management experience
Background in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, repair operations, maintenance management, or related environments
Strong people leadership and communication skills
Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation
Customer-facing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Electric motor repair or rotating equipment experience
Industrial service shop leadership experience
Experience with estimating and quoting
Exposure to EASA-certified environments or similar industrial repair operations
