Shop Manager | Plainwell, MI
Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Plainwell seeking experienced Shop Managers. These organizations value long‑term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
Coordinate with supply chain and engineering to ensure material availability and product specifications.
Maintain equipment functionality through preventative maintenance and repairs.
Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
2+ years experience in a supervisory or management role
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
Experience with production scheduling and resource allocation
Proficiency in using shop floor control software or ERP systems
