nPosition Summary
nWith safety being the first and foremost priority, perform minor/major repairs on various types & brands of equipment from TBI-owned fleet as well as outside customer equipment. The objective is to provide our Internal/External customers with first-class equipment repair services.
nRequired Skills
nKey Responsibilities:
nnnInspect and diagnose equipment to identify faults, malfunctions, or maintenance needs.
n
nnPerform repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of equipment, including but not limited to hydraulic systems, engines, electrical components, and mechanical systems.
n
nnConduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and minimize downtime.
n
nnDisassemble and reassemble machinery and components for repair or replacement of parts.
n
nnUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.
n
nnDocument all repairs and maintenance tasks accurately and maintain detailed service records.
n
nnTest repaired equipment to verify proper functionality and performance.
n
nnFollow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
n
nnCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding equipment status, repair timelines, and recommendations.
n
nnAssist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs.
n
n nSkills and Qualifications:
nnnProven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in equipment repair.
n
nnStrong mechanical and technical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
n
nnAbility to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
n
nnProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
n
nnExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
nnGood communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
n
nnWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
n
nnPhysical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
n
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus.
n
n nWorking Conditions:
nnnWork primarily in a shop or service center environment.
n
nnMay be required to work in varying weather conditions or outdoor settings.
n
nnRegularly lift and move heavy equipment and parts.
n
nnFollow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
