Shop SupervisorUSA:AZ:Phoenix | Shop & Field Service Support | Full-TimeSummary: Under the direction of the VP, the US Service Manager plans and directs the work of the Service Coordinators and Service Technicians, placing particular emphasis on the successful completion service jobs, continually improves and develops standards for the Service Department, works closely with the Customer Service Manager to develop and accomplish long-range operating and service sales growth goals.Responsibilities of the Shop Supervisor include but are not limited to:Plans and directs the work of the Service Technicians, placing particular emphasis on the successful completion service jobsContinually improves and develops standards for the Service DepartmentAdministers safety, technical, and process training as required for departmentOrganizes shop to accomplish operational goals and advises VP Operations on staff requirementsMonitors Service Department to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customers' requirementsWorks with Sales Professionals to prepare technical proposals and support customer needsWorks with the Safety Coordinator to ensure that the service department operates according to Company Safety policies, both in the shop and in the fieldWorks closely with the Service Manager to develop and accomplish long-range operating and service sales growth goalsQualifications of the Shop Supervisor include but are not limited to:Extensive (7-10 years minimum) experience in pump and/or other rotating equipmentEmployee management experienceAbility to motivate team and accomplish goalsAdditional Information:Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassistedWorking Conditions: Shop EnvironmentTraining/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Must be able to work overtime as necessaryTravel: Travel to client sites.
