Job Title: Shop Technician
Location: Thatcher, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $27.09-$37.68 hour DOE
Position Summary:
As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment and machinery. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving:
Engines
Transmissions
Hydraulic systems
Electrical systems
Follow established OEM procedures and guidelines for all repairs and service tasks
Complete accurate documentation and service reports using basic computer systems
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols
Apply safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
Perform additional functions or duties as assigned by management to support dealership objectives
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in construction or agricultural equipment service.
Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Welding and structural repair experience is highly preferred
Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards
Proficient with basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
