Shop WelderTalon Recruiting has partnered with a National Heavy Equipment company. They are in search of a Shop Welder to join their team in Lansing, MI.Job Responsibilities:Working in accordance with approved welding procedure data sheets (WPDS) on the shop floorRead drawings and engineering detailsTIG welding stainless steel pipingProduction welding, service & repair welding and prototype buildingAdhere to all safety policies and the use of all safe work practicesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Four (4) plus years in the welding industryExcellent safety recordProficient in TIG welding stainless steel pipingHave a sound understanding of welding procedures and welding data proceduresAbility to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quicklyThe ability to work in a team or independently as requiredPossesses intermediate computer skills, specifically with MS OfficePossesses the ability to interpret engineering specifications an assetCompensation & Benefits:$32/hour based on experience plus overtimeInsurance package401k
