Job description
Ingram Barge Company in Columbus, KY is seeking a Chief Engineer – Shore Based responsible for overseeing vessel operations and maintenance tasks including engine repairs and preventive measures. Candidates must have strong mechanical and electrical skills, alongside proven leadership capabilities to coordinate repairs and communicate effectively with team members.
The role requires a high school diploma, 2-3 years of engine room experience, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
