Shower Aide (CNA1 (GNA))We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shower Aide (CNA1 (GNA)) to join our team at Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, Maryland. As a Shower Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, focusing on their personal hygiene, comfort, and well-being. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation and great benefit packages.Responsibilities:Provide bath/shower care to at least 9-10 residents in the 8-hour shift, including shaving, nail care, and skin integrity checksComplete skin sheets on showers completed and report any changes in skin conditions requiring treatmentDocument care provided accurately and thoroughlyPass ice and water, as neededAssist with serving and feeding residents in the dining room during mealtimesAssist with transfers from bed to wheelchairsComplete other CNA duties as needed, including answering call bellsMaintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocolsRequirements:High school diploma or GEDCNA-1 (GNA) LicenseAbility to think and work independently and with directionComfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environmentGood communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personalityUp-to-date identificationBasic computer skillsAbout Us:Mountain City Rehab Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents and patients by understanding and meeting their unique needs in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
