Job description
Floor TechnicianAB Facility Services is seeking an experienced Floor Technician to maintain commercial flooring in a professional office environment. Candidates must have hands-on experience with floor care equipment and floor restoration services.Responsibilities:Strip, wax, buff, scrub, and maintain hard floor surfacesSweep, mop, shampoo, and vacuum floors as neededOperate floor care equipment including auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, Kaivac systems, and other floor machinesMix and use cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer guidelinesTransport equipment and supplies throughout the facilityMonitor inventory and report supply needsFollow all safety procedures and company standardsRequirements:Minimum 1 year of commercial floor care experienceExperience with floor stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing requiredAbility to operate floor care machinery safely and effectivelyMust be at least 18 years oldMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background checkPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds as neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods$200 SIGN-ON BONUSPart Time ShiftLocation: Norfolk, VA Pay: $14.00 - $15.77 per hour Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 4:00 PM - 8:00 PMWhy AB Facility Services?
