Job Description Job Description Position Summary: Silicone Injection Room Technician: A Silicone Injection Room Technician utilizes injection molding machines and drill presses to mold and core silicone parts to fulfill daily production requirements in accordance with the production schedule.
Key Job Responsibilities: Silicone Injection Room Technician: Run injection molding pumping stations and injection molding machines.
Run drill presses.
Monitor product quality to ensure injection molded parts are made to specifications.
Cores injection-molded parts.
Ability to understand tolerances and use basic measuring equipment (tape measures, calipers, etc.)
Collects and reports manufacturing performance data.
Reviews and completes work orders (paper-based and electronic).
Maintains a clean working environment through regular cleaning of the cleanroom and equipment, along with 5S.
Follows all cleanroom gowning procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements: Silicone Injection Room Technician: High school diploma or GED. Technical school credit is a plus.
Basic computer skills.
Must have a very high level of attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with management as well as other team members.
