Overview
We are hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee civil and site development projects in Albany, NY.
KCI Technologies, Inc. is a 100% employee‑owned engineering, consulting and construction firm serving clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Serve on multiple project teams and support the development of civil/site designs and drawings.
Manage civil and land development projects, internal project teams, client relations, permitting and approval processes.
Oversee project management, client interaction, technical and fee proposal preparation, scope and budget development, engineering studies, technical reports, QA/QC reviews, and business development.
Provide mentorship, supervisory support, and maintain rigorous communication and detail orientation.
Demonstrate business development and project management experience over the last 4‑6 years.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and collaborate with a diverse team.
Preferred: 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
Bachelor's Degree in related field (AEC industry) and minimum 6 years of related professional experience, or 10 years of equivalent professional experience.
Track record of expanding project management duties.
Proven experience managing larger-scale projects or programs.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project‑management software and tools.
Knowledge of industry standards, QA/QC, and safety protocols.
Effective problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced environments.
Strong negotiation skills for contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements.
Strong understanding of accounting principles for project budgets and financial reporting.
Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:
Master's Degree in related field (AEC industry).
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
Complete KCI PM Training, Contract Risk Training, and pass the PM Board within 6 months of start date.
Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based on position.
