Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Logan Correctional Center located in Lincoln, Illinois.
Job Summary
The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, directs clinical services for patients, and provides clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Annual salary starting at $280,800 or higher based on years of experience.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements.
Direct clinical services for patients at the assigned site.
Provide clinical supervision for medical staff under Statewide Medical Director.
Ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
Participate in committees such as CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain.
Active, unrestricted DEA.
Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty.
Available Shift
Monday - Friday
Day shift
No nights, holidays or weekends
Choice of 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts
