Six Sigma Black Belt | Portage, MI
Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Portage that are seeking skilled Six Sigma Black Belts. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute complex Six Sigma projects to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
Mentor Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Analyze manufacturing data using statistical methods to identify root causes of defects and inefficiencies.
Develop and implement control plans to sustain process improvements and prevent recurrence of issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality to drive operational excellence.
Facilitate training sessions on Six Sigma principles, tools, and best practices for manufacturing personnel.
Track and report on project progress, financial impact, and key performance indicators to leadership.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, ML) in process improvement.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts and other continuous improvement practitioners.
Familiarity with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical packages).
Proven track record of leading successful change management initiatives alongside technical improvements.
Experience in applying Lean principles and tools in a manufacturing environment.
