Six Sigma Black Belt | Traverse City, MI
Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Traverse City seeking Six Sigma Black Belts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Utilize advanced statistical analysis to identify root causes of manufacturing defects, inefficiencies, and variations.
Develop and implement sustainable control plans to maintain process improvements and prevent recurrence of issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to drive process optimization initiatives.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or other advanced automation technologies.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior Belt levels (Green Belts, Yellow Belts).
Experience applying Six Sigma principles to supply chain optimization or logistics.
Certification or experience in related methodologies like Lean, Agile, or Theory of Constraints.
Proficiency with simulation software or advanced statistical modeling tools.
