Six Sigma Black Belt | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Walker that are seeking skilled Six Sigma Black Belts. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex Six Sigma projects from initiation to closure, delivering significant financial savings and process improvements.

Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Develop and implement statistical process controls and other data-driven solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.

Analyze process performance data to identify root causes of defects, waste, and inefficiencies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cultural change and embed a continuous improvement mindset.

Present project findings, recommendations, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Utilize advanced statistical tools and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and modeling.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, ML, IoT) in a manufacturing context.

Certified in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) at the Master Black Belt level.

Strong proficiency in statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries).

Demonstrated experience in change management and organizational transformation.

Expertise in advanced simulation modeling (e.g., discrete event simulation).
