Job description

Installer PositionThe Installer performs entry-level installation of structured cabling systems, including pathway installation, cable pulling, and basic terminations. This role applies industry standards while working under supervision, ensuring proper routing, labeling, and organization of cabling systems. The Installer is responsible for maintaining quality workmanship, following project specifications, and supporting testing and documented processes.Focus: Core technical skill development and task execution. Intended for participants ready to take on more direct responsibility in technical operations. Participants perform assigned tasks with guidance while building confidence in installation, testing, and documentation.Key Training Areas:Fiber optic and copper cable installation and terminationEquipment mounting and infrastructure supportBasic testing, troubleshooting, and circuit verificationReading layouts, diagrams, and work instructionsDocumentation of completed work and labeling standardsQuality control and adherence to technical proceduresOutcome: Participants are prepared for technician-level roles and are expected to complete routine tasks with growing independence and reliability.Requirements:Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearanceDuration of training: 31 - 60 daysInstall cable pathways (J-hooks, tray, ladder rack)Pull, route, and label copper cablingPerform basic terminations and assist with testingFollow installation standards and project drawingsPlacement on a track is based on prior experience, military background, technical aptitude, business needs, and program availability.Target MOCs 3D1X2, 3D1X7, 25L, 25B, 25H, 0612, 0631What we offer: SkillBridge Fellows are not eligible for any employee benefits, however they may be available upon conversion to full-time.To be eligible for SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction .Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job locationThe EOA Technologies SkillBridge Program is organized into five structured training tracks designed to support transitioning Service Members as they build practical, career-ready skills in telecommunications, data center infrastructure, technical operations, and leadership support functions. Each track is intended to provide hands-on learning, supervised experience, and exposure to real-world business operations.Participation in this program does not constitute employment with EOA Technologies. Participants remain active-duty Service Members under the authority of their respective military branch throughout the duration of the program.Employment decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs - not on any protected characteristic.
