Skilled Assembly TechnicianLocation: Belmont, MIPay: $18.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PMHours: 40 hours per weekOvertime: Available/required as neededJoin Our Team! Snelling is seeking skilled assembly professionals to join a growing team in Belmont. If you have hands-on experience with assembly, fabrication, power tools, and industrial equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work in a rewarding manufacturing environment.What You'll DoAs a Skilled Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:Use hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and other shop equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsOperate a variety of industrial machinery and fabrication equipmentMeasure and cut extruded aluminum to specified lengths using a chop sawAssemble steel components according to specificationsOperate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cuttersCut, bend, grind, and adjust materials as neededInspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.Qualifications include:High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious skilled assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferredComfortable using hand and power toolsAbility to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and written instructionsExperience operating industrial machinery and fabrication toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDependable and reliableValid driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to complete a required drug screeningDesire for continued growth and learningWhy Apply?Competitive pay: $18-$20 per hourFirst-shift schedule: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM40-hour workweekOvertime opportunities when neededWeekly payImmediate start for qualified candidates following the interview processIf you're an experienced, hands-on professional looking for an opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a great team, apply today for immediate consideration!
