HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Big Company Compensation. Local Company Values.
Dustin's Plumbing Heating & A/C Repair Monmouth, Mercer & Ocean Counties, NJ
Plenty of HVAC companies want technicians who can sell. We're looking for something different.
We're looking for an Opportunity Technician - someone who walks into a home, diagnoses the entire system, identifies legitimate ways to improve comfort, safety, efficiency and reliability, and gives the homeowner honest options.
At Dustin's, integrity comes first. We don't manufacture problems, scare homeowners, or sell people things they don't need. We also don't believe great technicians should ignore real problems or fail to educate homeowners about their options.
Find the opportunity. Explain the opportunity. Earn the customer's trust. Let the customer decide.
That's the Dustin way.
LOCALLY OWNED. PRIVATELY EARNED.
Dustin's isn't owned by an out-of-state investment group. We're a locally owned HVAC and Plumbing company built by serving the communities where we live and work.
You get the earning opportunity and professional systems of a big company - without losing the culture, accountability and integrity of a local one.
BIG COMPANY COMPENSATION. WITHOUT THE BIG COMPANY FEEL.
If you're good at what you do, we want you paid accordingly.
Our compensation rewards technicians who:
Diagnose systems thoroughly
Communicate exceptionally well
Identify legitimate repair, replacement, IAQ and membership opportunities
Present homeowners with clear options
Deliver an outstanding customer experience
Build trust instead of applying pressure
Take ownership of their results
Your income should grow with the value you create. We want technicians who can build a serious career and serious income - and still look every customer in the eye when the job is finished.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Technical ability matters. Character matters more.
We're looking for someone who:
Has residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience
Takes pride in fixing things correctly
Explains technical issues so homeowners understand
Looks at the entire system, not only the complaint
Recognizes opportunities and isn't afraid to discuss them
Wants to improve technical and communication skills
Takes accountability for performance
Treats customers' homes with respect
Wants to win financially without compromising integrity
If selling means convincing someone to buy something they don't need, this isn't the place for you.
If selling means diagnosing thoroughly, educating the customer, presenting great options and letting them make an informed decision, we should talk.
THE OPPORTUNITY TECHNICIAN
An Opportunity Technician doesn't ask, "What can I sell today?"
They ask, "What opportunities exist to make this customer's home safer, more comfortable, more reliable or more efficient?"
Sometimes that's a repair. Sometimes maintenance, indoor air quality, a membership, or evaluating an aging system for replacement.
And sometimes the right answer is simply: "Your system looks good. You're all set."
That last answer matters as much as the others. We're not trying to maximize one service call. We're trying to earn a customer for life.
WHY DUSTIN'S?
You shouldn't have to choose between earning great money and working for a company you believe in. You shouldn't have to choose between professional processes and local ownership. And you shouldn't have to compromise how you treat homeowners to become a top-performing technician.
At Dustin's, we're building a team that performs at a high level and operates with integrity.
If that sounds like you, we'd like to meet you.
PUT YOUR TRUST IN DUSTIN.
