Job description
Industrial Painter - Powder ApplicationIndustrial Painter - Powder Application Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare parts for powder coating through cleaning, masking, hanging, and surface preparation processesSet up and operate powder coating equipment and related systemsMix, load, and monitor powder materials to ensure proper application and finish qualityUse thickness gauges, gloss gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify coating specificationsApply primers, specialty coatings, and finish coats as requiredInspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company quality standardsPerform color changes, equipment adjustments, and routine maintenance of spray equipmentMaintain curing ovens and monitor coating processes to ensure proper adhesion and finishClean spray booths, equipment, and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environmentSafely handle coating materials and follow all environmental, health, and safety regulationsWear required PPE and follow all company safety proceduresIndustrial Painter - Powder Application Requirements:Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferredExperience operating electrostatic powder coating equipmentKnowledge of coating thickness measurements and quality standardsAbility to read and interpret work instructions and production specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to lift, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftBenefits:Performance BonusPaid HolidaysMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
