Skilled LaborerLocation: Cartersville, GAPay: $30/hrJob Summary: Seeking reliable and hardworking Skilled Laborers to support construction and installation projects in an industrial environment. Candidates should have experience using hand and power tools, installing structural components, bolting equipment together, and working with steel framing systems. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and can follow drawings, measurements, and installation procedures.Responsibilities:Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Install and assemble steel framing, structural components, and equipment.Drill, bolt, fasten, and secure materials according to specifications.Assist with the installation of systems and structures at industrial and commercial job sites.Read tape measures and follow basic blueprints or work instructions.Perform material handling, site preparation, and general labor duties.Operate tools such as drills, impact drivers, grinders, saws, and other construction equipment.Maintain a safe and organized work area.Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.Qualifications:Previous experience in construction, industrial installation, steel framing, carpentry, mechanical assembly, or a similar skilled labor role.Proficient with hand tools and power tools.Experience drilling, bolting, assembling, and installing materials.Ability to read a tape measure accurately.Comfortable working in industrial or outdoor environments.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.Strong attention to detail and safety practices.Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.Ability to work on ladders and around construction equipment.Ability to work in varying weather conditions when requiredPreferred Experience:Steel framing or metal stud installation.Structural assembly and installation.Gun range construction or ballistic panel installation experience.Mechanical or construction-related backgrounds.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, GA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
