Whether you are a teacher, an administrator, or a potential support staff employee, if you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Job SummaryRepairs and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems.What You Will DoPerforms work associated with work orders, able to work independently, read / interpret blue prints and schematics, inspects work and keeps all necessary records to ensure quality HVAC work and meet the EPA requirements on Freon, refrigerant, and CFCs.Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.Maintains and orders supplies as needed to ensure necessary supplies are consistently available for routine operation, keeps accurate records and reports on work progress to ensure cost efficient department operations.Establishes and maintains working relationships with others; organizes and prioritizes work effectively.Works cooperatively with other personnel, communicates effectively with maintenance personnel, and has working knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the HVAC building maintenance fields.Communicates with building customers on status of repairs.Knowledge of computer operationsEducation QualificationsVocational School training PreferredExperience QualificationsEquipment examples include: Boilers, Air handlers, Heat Pumps, VRF, PTAC, Exhaust Fans, Fan Coil Units, and VAV Boxes RequiredSkills and AbilitiesKnowledge of building codes; the proper use of tools and equipment, and EPA requirements for handling Refrigerant is required.Licenses and CertificationsUniversal EPA License RequiredDL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State RequiredEquivalencyStarting At: $21.78Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
